VLSI Design and Test: Wafer-level Variation Modeling for Multi-site Testing
Wafer-level performance prediction has been attracting attention in order to reduce measurement cost without compromising test quality in production test. There are several efficient methods for site-to-site variation, which is often observed in multi-site testing for RF circuits, still has not been sufficiently handled yet. This work focuses on wafer-level performance prediction method for multi-site testing. This work is an collaboration among various universities and industry.

Hardware Reliability and Security: Hardware Trojan Detection by Learning Power Side Channel Signals.
Due to the globalization and complexity of the supply chain, there is a growing concern about the insertion of hardware Trojan circuits into semiconductor integrated circuits. This work propose a method to detect hardware Trojan circuits by learning side-channel signals. This is a collaboration with Nara Institute of Science and Technology

Decimal Computing
The binary arithmetic causes some unexpected errors that changes the actual value of the exact result. Thus, many applications involving decimal data are forced to perform their arithmetic either entirely in software or decimal floating-point hardware. Decimal arithmetic using software is slow for very large-scale applications. On the other hand, when hardware is employed, extra area overhead is required. This work is a balanced strategy with software-hardware co-design and its evaluation framework.

Deep Learning for Visual Coverage Estimation
The scope of our work includes image classification, detection, and segmentation for marine images. Specifically, we are currently focusing on two public datasets to accurately identify and analyze seagrass and deep-sea grass within the images. This work is an International collaboration with Dr. Md Kislu Noman from Edith Cowan University, Western Australia
