Study of traditional kioke shoyu practices and aesthetics at a local shoyu factory (Kanemori Shoyu, Matsue). The study relates kioke shoyu aesthetics and virtues to my JSPS Kakenhi project on imperfectionist aesthetics.
The research is then used in research-led teaching in my M.A. aesthetics course.
