Arboviral infections are major public health threats. Despite the availability of vaccines for some arbovirus infections, there is a lack of specific antiviral treatment options. Regular surveillance of arbovirus transmission related to vectors, reservoirs, ecology, and weather is crucial to be able to inform public health decisions for early warning, rapid response, and effective control.
