The article explained the philosophy of S.T. Coleridge and how it still has relevance in the modern world today.
2.	Aeon: Magazine of Ideas 2021年 4月 My article 'Coleridge the Philosopher' was published in Aeon, a popular international magazine of ideas and culture which has over one million subscribers.

Publication: Church Times (International; based UK) This newspaper article is a review of my book, Coleridge and Contemplation (Oxford University Press, 2017).
4.	新聞 2016年 6月 A journalist from the Yomiuri Shinbun, Shimane section, telephoned requesting an interview about the UK Brexit referendum. We met for an interview the same day at Matsue Town Hall. The telephone call plus interview took around 2 hours. The interview was published 25 June, and my position was given as Associate Professor of British Literature and Culture at Shimane University.

1.	I took international M.A. students to Kanemori Shoyu, Matsue, to promote understanding and appreciation of traditional local business and culture.
