Who will be the actors of agriculture in the future? Evidence from rural Indonesia (or other developing countries)
- Purpose: To identify what kind of farm households or organizations should be explored for agricultural development and steady farm management in the future.
- Field survey in Java Island, Indonesia, or using my previous data (the center area of rice production in Indonesia).
- Theoretical reviews on agricultural development from the bibliographic survey on Japanese agricultural economics are needed. As the number of organizations that take the form of community-based management (village business agriculture) is many in Shimane prefecture. The proliferated application of advanced agricultural technologies like ICT is also drawing attention.
