2.	研究者 インド 人数：1人 外国人招へい研究者（短期第2回) 研究課題: AIを活用したラマン分光法を用いた，唾液による口腔ガンの非侵襲的早期診断法の開発 (採用期間: 32日). Invited 1 researcher from Tata Memorial Center, Mumbai which is the largest Cancer hospital in India. We successfully developed early diagnostic deep learning models based on Raman spectroscopy of saliva from oral cancer patients and healthy volunteers. 3.	さくらサイエンスプログラム 学生 インド 人数：6人 尿路感染症における病原体の正確な検出を目的としたラベルフリー分子分光学的研究 (さくらサイエンスプログラム B.共同研究活動コース, 15日) Invited 1 researcher and 6 students from IIT-Hyderabad which is one of the top ranked institutions in India. We conducted spectroscopy experiments, analyzed data and exchanged ideas. One manuscript is under preparation. Also, one Indian student is interested to join our laboratory for PhD course. （2022年度）
4.	[外国人招へい研究者（短期） 研究者 インド 人数：1人 日本学術振興会の「2. [外国人招へい研究者（短期）」に採択され，ムンバイ（インド）のTATAメモリアルセンターのDr.Murali Krishna CHILAKAPATIを，32日間（2022年4月～5月）に受け入れた。その間，口腔がんのラマン分光法による診断技術開発に関する研究打ち合わせ等を行った。 キーワード:ラマン分光法，口腔がん診断，インド （2021年度）
5.	Exchange students and a Professor from Kerala 人数：5人 Supported international section to receive students from CUSAT, Cochin, Kerala, India (preparing invitations/VISA aapplication etc.). Had several dicussions with prospective students during their visit. Hosted them at Raman Project Center. 2018年 1月 ～ （2017年度）
6.	Sakura Science program 国費留学生 人数：5人 5 students from Banaras Hindu University, India visited Raman project center in Shimane university in January. I assisted in planning and organising student exchange. Also, I gave lectures on Raman spectroscopy and demonstrated experiment procedures to those students. 2016年 1月 ～ 2016年 1月 （2015年度）

国際共同研究・外国出張

1.	Label-free molecular spectroscopic studies for accurate and rapid detection of pathogens in urinary tract infection Co-Investigator in JICA Friendship 2.0 Research Grant 2023 for international research collaborations. 役割：講師・指導,研究,Co-Invesitagor IIT-Hyderabad, India 2023年 1月 ～ 2024年 12月
2.	インド政府アーユル省との共同研究 インドの伝統医療法である「アーユルベーダ」に関する寄付講座を島根大学に設置するために，インド政府のアーユル省の事務官と関連大学教員らと打ち合わせを進めている。2022年2月に，オンラインによる打ち合わせを企画実施した。打ち合わせには，インド側から上記の方たちが出席し，島根大学側からは，本人以外に，大谷理事，青教授，山本教授らが出席した。今後も，打ち合わせを継続して行う事になった。 役割：企画・運営 オンライン オンライン 2022年 2月 ～ 2022年 2月 キーワード:アーユルベーダ，インド，共同研究
3.	Existing MoU between Shimane University and Indian Institute of Science (IISc) As the MoU was about to expire, I made an appointment with the International section officer in Indian Institute of Science (IISc) during my visit and discussed the ways to renew the MoU. 役割：その他 IISc, Bengaluru, India 2018年 2月 ～
4.	Promotion of Shimane Univerity and research project with BHU on studies on weak interactions in Ionic liquids Visited Dept of Chemistry, Banaras Hindu University (BHU), India. During my visit, I gave lectures and also introduced Shimane University to promote and attract bright students of BHU to our university for higher studies. 新聞 2016年 1月 Two Indian newspapers (Dainik Jagaran and Times of India) covered the visit of BHU students to Shimane University. The Hindi newspaper (Dainik Jagaran) reported in detail about the activities between the two universities (including photos).

島根県を中心とした山陰地域に貢献する社会貢献活動の改善の取組み

1.	Set up a booth and represented Raman Project center in Shimane University's open day organised on 2017-11-18 at Kunibiki Messe.
2.	I founded "Indians in Sanin" association (山陰インド人会) to support Indians living in this region and promote exchanges between Indians and Japanese in Shimane. Many Japanese people participated in our events and enjoyed Indian culture. The association is also registered with Embassy of India, Tokyo.
