1. さくらサイエンスプログラム 学生 バングラデシュ 人数:6人 Hosted six students and tow faculties from Bangladesh. Organized lectures, laboratory visits, and fieldwork at Lake Shinji, introducing environmental monitoring and AI-based research on aquatic ecosystems. The program promoted international collaboration while addressing regional environmental challenges in Shimane Prefecture through hands-on learning and research activities. (2025年度)

島根県を中心とした山陰地域に貢献する社会貢献活動の改善の取組み

1. I participated in NHK World TV's Bento Expo program with my students and university staff. The program aimed to showcase the art and cultural significance of Japanese lunchboxes, fostering cultural exchange worldwide. It was a special episode titled "Season 7-17 Shimane Special: California Roll Bento & Crab Rice Bento," highlighting Shimane Prefecture.
2. Currently developing AI- and satellite-based cyanobacterial bloom detection for Tomata Dam, Obara Dam, and Lake Shinji with local partners to support environmental management and decision-making.
3. Conducted field research on Lake Shinji through Shimane University's Estuary Research Center, contributing AI-based monitoring of estuarine ecosystems and regional environmental conservation.
4. Conducted community-based research on temporary event spaces in Matsue using AI-driven behavioral analysis, public interviews, and questionnaires to support regional revitalization and sustainable event management.
